Who we are
Computer Education Board (CEB) is an educational and skill-development initiative associated with Sri Achyuta Akalita Seba Sangha (SAASS), a voluntary organisation committed to education, social welfare and community development. CEB was initiated in 2001 with the vision of making computer education and digital skills accessible to students, youth and communities, particularly those with limited access to quality educational opportunities.
CEB works with a clear objective: Educate • Empower • Serve • Transform. Its programmes promote computer education, digital literacy and employment-oriented skill development, helping learners build practical knowledge and confidence with computers, digital technologies and modern information tools.

Why computer education?
Computer knowledge is now essential for education, employment, communication and everyday life. CEB believes access to computer education should not be limited by location or economic circumstances. Through structured training, practical learning and digital awareness, CEB seeks to help learners use technology confidently for education, employment, entrepreneurship and personal development.
Our focus on rural youth
A major focus of CEB is rural and semi-urban communities, where quality computer education and digital resources may be limited. We seek to create opportunities through computer and IT training, digital-literacy programmes, practical education, career-oriented skills, digital-services awareness, entrepreneurship and self-employment guidance.
Digital literacy and skill development
CEB promotes legitimate, confident use of computers, smartphones, internet services and digital technologies. Learning may include basic computer operation, internet and email, office productivity tools, online learning, digital communication, cyber-safety awareness, digital services and foundational IT skills.
Practical programmes may cover Computer Fundamentals, Office Automation, DCA, ADCA, Data Entry, accounting and computer applications, digital skills, web and technology-related skills, and other suitable computer and IT training programmes.
Support for learners
Where resources permit, CEB/SAASS may support eligible students through free or subsidised computer education, educational assistance, skill-development programmes, digital learning opportunities and community awareness programmes. The aim is that financial circumstances should not unnecessarily prevent deserving learners from gaining useful digital skills.

CEB is committed to transparency, responsible educational practices, quality-oriented training and proper student records. We continuously seek to improve programmes and provide a learning environment that expands educational and economic opportunities.
CEB is an educational and skill-development initiative/wing associated with SAASS. It is not a Government statutory Board unless separately recognised or authorised by the competent authority. External affiliation, accreditation, Government recognition or statutory certification is claimed only after the relevant written approval is obtained.
